Supporting Frontline Staff Who Serve Pregnant People, Families, and Young Children
CHWTraining’s Maternal & Child Health (MCH) training program supports organizations that work with pregnant people, caregivers, infants, and young children.
This program is designed for agencies that rely on frontline staff, such as outreach workers, family support staff, home visitors, navigators, and similar roles, to provide education, connection to services, and ongoing support.
MCH training can be used as a focused pathway following Core Competencies or as a companion program alongside Leadership and Communication training.

Who This Program Is For
The MCH program is a good fit for organizations that:
- Staff work closely with families during pregnancy or early childhood
- Programs want training that reflects maternal and family-centered services
- Roles or funding streams are changing, but core support functions remain
- Teams need shared expectations and consistent practice across roles
MCH training helps strengthen services while maintaining flexibility across programs.
