Key Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance: Provide your opinions to improve the quality and relevance of our courses and programs.

Course Advice: Advise on the development of new courses so they meet the needs of our network of learners around the country, in many languages.

Training Testing: Participate in the careful testing of educational materials to make sure they are correct, effective and address the needs of all communities.

Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for equality within communities, both within our organization and beyond.

Networking: Connect with other team members, industry experts, and community leaders.

Planned Activities

Review some Advisory Team planned activities:

  • Attend regular virtual meetings, about every 3-4 months.
  • Help in one or more of the areas of: course topic selection, course promotion, training evaluation, expert Q&A.
  • Recommend others to our courses and earn a referral fee.
  • Share new ideas and materials related to education.
  • Serve for a renewable one-year term.
