Core Competencies Training Program

Core Competencies training is designed for people who are new to the Community Health Worker role and for teams that need standardized, competency-based training. This program supports consistent onboarding and helps organizations meet Medicaid, Medi-Cal, and grant-funded requirements.

Learners build essential skills in communication, health education, care coordination, documentation, and advocacy, aligned with national CHW core competency frameworks.

Leadership & Supervision Training Program

Leadership and Supervision training is designed for supervisors, leads, and experienced team members preparing to take on greater responsibility. This program focuses on the skills needed to support teams, strengthen communication, and build effective programs.

Courses cover topics such as communication and feedback, conflict management, planning and prioritization, and team development.

Maternal & Child Health Training Program

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Training Program is designed for learners who support individuals and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and early childhood.

This program includes training in healthy pregnancy, infant and early childhood development, maternal mental health, care coordination, and family-centered support. It can be taken as a standalone program or alongside Core Competency training.
